Jon Gosselin has agreed to pay back most of the $180,000 that Kate Gosselin said he took from their join savings account after they separated last June.
Jon actually withdrew $230,000,but the court wanted him to return $180,000. Jon had deposited $28,500 into an account last week, and a Montgomery County judge ordered Jon to put the remaining amount of money (approximately $152,000) into an escrow account by the end of the day Monday.
Kate wasn’t there, but the judge found her in compliance after her attorney provided the court with receipts for the almost $60,000 that Jon claimed she had taken during the same period.
Jon still claims that Kate still hasn’t accounted for $33,000, but Kate’s lawyer said the court didn’t require an accounting.
