Time ran out for Jon Gosselin’s spending spree today. The judge ordered him to return $180,00 of the money he took from his joint account with Kate.
Of course, Kate says Jon took $230, ooo from the account, so we don’t know why the judge didn’t say he has to give the rest back to Kate.
But an arbitrator is going to check into $55,000 that Kate spent. She says she used it for child-related and household expenses.
The judge ordered Jon to return the money by Oct. 26 or face contempt charges. The question is whether or not Jon even has that money anymore. And if he doesn’t, what’s going to happen then? It keeps things interesting, that’s for sure.
The judge also told Kate that she has to provide an accounting of past expenses by the same date. It’s hard to imagine she would have started this whole mess if she wasn’t squeaky clean. But stranger things have happened with these two.
